Welcome to Missions C.S. The goal here is simple -Read the Word of God-Consider this like your online coffee shop. The truth is most of us are willing to spend 30 minutes in a coffee shop or surfing the internet and reading all sorts of garbage. Why not join us for a Luther Challenge and read through Scripture a few times a year, in less than 30 minutes a day. The readings are set up easily for you utilizing the LC-MS lectionary readings for years A, B, and C each week, so regardless of the year you are in, you are always ahead of the Sunday readings, additional days each week (Monday-Saturday) are filled with the additional readings or anything not included in the lectionary. In other words, generally speaking you should get through Scripture roughly 3 times a year.

For some years now, I have read through the Bible twice every year. If you picture the Bible to be a mighty tree and every word a little branch, I have shaken every one of these branches because I wanted to know what it was and what it meant (Luther’s Works 54:165).
